About Sally

A former journalist, columnist and business woman, Sally now writes short essays, observations, stories and musings that she calls miniatures. Gathered into Tea Pie, Love and Reality, a perfect little book for gift-giving, they are stories of joy and victory, loss and sorrow, hopes and dreams.

Before the miniatures, for thirteen years Sally ran a one-person business, The Write Touch, that specialized in writing, editing and desktop publishing. She used that successful experience to create workshops, then wrote The Real American Dream, which retains her personal blend of coaching and business insights. The current economic climate makes it especially useful, she notes.



Sally lives in the wine country between Oregon's coast and mountains with her husband Jim. Memoir occupies her writing time now. She loves the task of teasing meaning from an ordinary life growing up on the plains of Nebraska, then reacting to the great events of eventful decades.
